According to today’s Shantou City Newspaper, all about 400 undergraduate students of Shantou traditional Chinese medicine technical secondary school found jobs in a few hours at a recent job fair.
They were employed by more than 200 local pharmaceutical factories, companies and shops, at a job fair held by the school.
Thought they were from technical secondary school, more than 400 students of traditional Chinese medicine, pharmaceutical trade and integration of traditional and western medicine were snatched up by employers in less than 2 hours, according to the article.
The medicine industry is one of the eight mainstay industries in Shantou. Since the school is the only traditional Chinese medicine technical secondary school in Shantou, its students are in high demand.
