Zewei, 10, who has been learning diving for 5 years, is diving from a 3-meter-height diving board. The coach said she can¡¯t be an athlete because she not strong enough, but her parent insist her remind here. Zishan worries herself for hard to catch up with her classmates who are not have a diving train. They pay 5 Yuan for each supper. The government gives them salary every month.The longer they stay in the school, the more salary they will got. Zehong, 9, does his homework, 8 p.m., the time for the kids to learn, all of them will stay with a tutor who was hired by the diving school in a room. They go to the normal school in the morning and go to diving school in the afternoon. Most of them could not catch up with their classmates at the normal school. Zehong plays cards with his fellows at their dormitory; they do not have television or other entertainments. They have to go to bed at 9:30 p.m. Zewei may have a chance to the Guangdong province diving team becoming a full time athlete and dropping out of study. However, if he could not develop himself as a national athlete when he reach 20, he has to leave the team.
